Contracts and Grants, Investments, and Fund-Raising
Dr. Maren’s innovative work is directly responsible for over $3.4M in SBIR/STTR contracts, and for two investment rounds totaling $11M in her previous company (EagleForce Associates, later Viziant Corporation). She obtained NSF support from four different NSF Directorates to hold a multi-disciplinary workshop on Adaptive Human-Computer Interfaces. She has raised thousands of dollars for non-profit cultural organizations through hosting benefits, writing successful grant proposals, organizing fund-raising events, and direct solicitation.
